Everyone who walks through the Cathedral’s doors brings a story with them. And we believe every story matters.
That’s why we’ve been listening—gathering reflections from worshipers, supporters and visitors alike. Together, these stories create a beautiful mosaic of what this Cathedral means to so many.
Whether you’ve joined us in person or online, we hope you’ll continue to share how this sacred space has touched your life. Your story helps show the heart of our Cathedral community—diverse, faithful and full of grace.
Here are two of the stories that have been shared with us this year:
“What I really like is that when our kids come to the Acolyte Festival, they realize that the Church is more than the church they go to. When you come here and you see people from all the different states, from France, from the Virgin Islands, from Jamaica—you realize we are part of a much bigger body. And when you need something, wherever you are, you will find your church—and they will know the same language. They’ll know who you are. And they’ll help you. That’s what this church is.”
—Nancy, Acolyte Festival participant
“When you come here, there’s an atmosphere of just this sacredness, but it’s a very warm sacredness. And when you leave here, you can take that with you and share it with others. This is a church that’s open to all people, and I love that.”
—Larry, worshiper
We hope to hear your story someday soon!
